Youtube, not an unknown name anymore is an American online video-sharing platform which is located in San Bruno, California. Three friends Jawed Karim, Chad Hurley and Steve Chen created a service in February 2005. All three friends where the former employee of Paypal. Today YouTube operates as one of Google’s subsidiaries. Officially Google bought the site in November 2006. For users now Youtube allows them to upload, view, likes, comments, rate, share, add to playlists, report on their Videos, and even allows them to subscribe to other users. Today YouTube provides us from informational videos to long entertainment series. First video ever uploaded on YouTube was with the title “Me at the Zoo” uploaded by Jawed Karim. The way from entertainment to a profitable business today YouTube is always looking for new ways to grow. To gain ad revenue, YouTube has currently changed the requirement to have at least 1,000 subscribers and at least 4,000 watch-hours per year which means that you only needed 10,000 views over the lifetime of your channel.
