2006: Amazon Web Services was relaunched by combining Amazon S3 cloud storage, SQS, and EC2. It was an integrated suite of core online services.

2016: With huge success under the leadership of Jassy, he was promoted as a CEO of the division.

2017: Annual compensation hit nearly $36 million.

2018: AWS released 1,957 new services and features which ranked it first cloud provider to offer 100 Gbps of network bandwidth with its C5n EC2 instance types.
